What we calculate
PicRemedy is a browser-local AI image-restoration tool for people who want to enlarge and inspect private photographs without sending source pixels to an image service.
What the current release does
Browsers that pass the compact AI Clean probe can repair noise and compression damage at the original size. WebGPU receives the larger measured envelope; Firefox and other CPU/WASM browsers receive an honest small-image envelope. A compatible WebGPU device can also expose verified neural tensor upscaling at 2x or native 4x. Every available path supports a ten-image queue, per-item measurements, direct before-and-after dragging and photo-aware local downloads.
What we deliberately leave out
Neural availability depends on the exact browser, graphics device, model graph and measured task throughput. PicRemedy hides controls that do not pass that check. Enhancement is interpretive and is not evidence of an original fact.
